It’s been just over a week now since the last ever episode of Spooks aired and I’ve just about recovered enough to put down in words my thoughts on the finale and how Spooks became such a phenomenon over the 9 years since it first began. Ghostbusters
What’s Hallowe’en without a tale of ghosties and ghoulies and things that go bump in the night? And what’s a Hallowe’en Horror Week series without a review of at least one ghost film? And who you gonna call to end all of these annoying questions? Ghostbusters!

Shaun of the Dead
For fans of the cult TV programme Space, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost were already familiar and well-liked faces but for most people Shaun of the Dead provided an introduction to the two actors and their own special brand of comedy. Shaun of the Dead really is a genre busting film…
The Birds

Squabbling, squawking, fighting they would strip the food in a matter of minutes. It was a sight to behold and very often I would mutter “It’s like The Birds out there”….
