Marvel have released a new trailer for this summer’s superhero mash-up The Avengers and I think it’s looking pretty bloody good. Less emphasis on Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark/Iron Man and more of the rest of the team. Shame Jeremy Renner only got a couple of seconds but he’s certainly looking good as the next great action hero and Scarlett Johansson looks very good as the Black Widow.

Trailer looks great and May 4th cannot come soon enough. I am a bit on the fence about the look of Hawkeye’s costume, that is a pretty large departure from the classic marvel look. He is not even wearing a mask. His quiver better be filled with high tech arrows. lol
I have lost interest a bit in the superhero films apart from Nolan’s Batman. However, this does look like it could be fun. But then again I’ve thought that about a lot of other films lately and it didn’t turn out that way.
I’m not a fan of the Iron Man films, but really enjoyed Captain America. I’m coming down on the side of looking forward to this one.
Captain America is one I haven’t seen but I have it ready to watch at home. I’m looking forward to that one.
I’m sold! I guess the sheer visceral thrills got to me even though I still have no idea how it will work out. Nevertheless, looking forward to the movie 😀
